VIDEO REWIND OF THE DAY: Sade’s sixth studio album, Soldier of Love, drops today, and it’s the first release from the British soul group since 2000. So what have lead singer Sade Adu and the other members of her band been up to the last decade? Our guess: rolling around in all the licensing money made from their hit song “Smooth Operator.” The minimalist video, shot on what appears to be a backlot street set, may not be very memorable, but the jazzy love song goes down as smooth as it did in 1984. Welcome back, Sade!

Have a great day, everyone!
