Sean Combs, the actor, is slowly but surely catching up with the success of Diddy, the music mogul. He’s already won rave reviews from his past dramatic performances—as a prisoner in Monster’s Ball and in the Broadway production and TV movie of Raisin in the Sun. But the shameless entrepreneur is marking his first comedic role in the summer comedy Get Him To The Greek. Trailer below.

Diddy plays a record label exec named Sergio Roma who believes his financial problems will be solved by getting his assistant (Jonah Hill) to bring a British party monster rockstar (played by Russell Brand) back to the States for a comeback show at the Greek Theatre.

Between the pedigree of comedic actors in the cast and Diddy’s line “I got six kids! Do you know how many Air Jordans six black kids wear?!”—we can’t wait for the movie to be released this June.

No surprise: according to the film’s IMDb page, Brand’s real-life fiance Katy Perry makes a cameo as herself. Chances Cîroc Vodka will be making a guest appearance in the movie as well? One hundred percent definitely, if Diddy has any say in it.
