Nicole Scherzinger Will Pussyfoot Onto ‘Dancing With The Stars’

While her onetime Pussycat Dolls are running off into the night like felines in heat (Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt are the latest to jet from the burlesque-themed girl group), head kitty Nicole Scherzinger is stepping in an entirely different direction—Dancing With The Stars. Below, find out who the singer, who was recently voted one of the Ten Sexiest Women In Music by Billboard, will be paired up with in the reality dance competition’s tenth season.

Scherzinger’s DWTS co-stars will include astronaut Buzz Aldrin (possibly equally as random as Vince Vaughn’s appearance in the new “We Are The World”), Pamela Anderson, Erin Andrews, Shannen Doherty (hot!), Kate Gosselin, Evan Lysacek, Niecy Nash (hotter!), Chad Ochocinco, Jake Pavelka and Aiden Turner.

So does this mean Nicole is out of the Pussycat Dolls, as well? A look over her bio on ABC’s website reveals the following:

“Nicole is currently writing and recording new songs for release in 2010 while pursuing her love for acting and musical theater.”

Clever, since there’s no indication whether these new songs are intended for a solo album or another PCD record. The group’s founder Robin Antin stated in December that when Pussycat Dolls return from their hiatus, you can expect “new music, new concepts, new faces and more hit songs!”

Ah, well. Time will tell. Till then we’ll get to see Nicole Scherzinger use one of her nine lives for her DWTS stint, where she’ll be paired up with recent Cheryl Cole dance partner Derek Hough.
