Lil Wayne Is Probably Safer In Prison After Telling His Lady “I’m Single” In New Video
Lil Wayne seems to be adapting to prison life just fine. He misses his fans, of course, and just sent them a postcard of sorta. Wayne’s camp released the video for the beautifully hazy “I’m Single”, off last year’s No Ceilings mixtape. It may well be one of the 874 videos he was rushing to finish before starting his one-year prison sentence. Watch him celebrate being “single for the night” below:
The DJ Scoob Doo-directed video begins with Wayne woozily talking relationships with his Young Money pal Nicki Minaj, and then follows Wayne as he creates the track in his Miami studio, gets a shave and pretty much punishes his ladyLady for “acting like a brat”. Watch to see how she reacts — and be glad you’re not that cake. Scoob Doo told MTV the video was inspired by old Martin Lawrence films like “A Thin Line Between Love And Hate”.
