Green Day, Jay-Z And Will Smith Get One Step Closer To Claiming Their EGOT With Tony Nominations
The TONY Awards are going to be a lot more rockin’ this year—Fela!, produced by Jay-Z, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, scored 11 nominations, including Best Musical. The afro-beat stage show will compete against Green Day’s American Idiot, which is also up for Best Musical (as well as two other technical awards).
