:: The Top 4 Idols will sing the songs of the screen tomorrow night. And if we’re lucky, we’ll be treated to four renditions of “My Heart Will Go On.” (Truthfully, though, we think it would be great if Lee DeWyze or Casey James actually performed Ryan Bingham’s Oscar-winning “The Weary Kind” from Crazy Heart, but, big surprise, the list of cleared songs is pretty much full of fail.) :: Lady Gaga is pissed that Idol producers edited down her performance of “Alejandro,” calling it “poorly + amaturaly edited.” Check out the six-minute “director’s cut” here. [Idol Tracker]

:: Carrie Underwood will perform in a benefit concert raising funds for the Nashville flood, while ousted Idol Aaron Kelly may head to Nashville for another reason: to get a recording contract. [Idol Chatter]

:: Can you believe we’re only a few weeks away from finding out who will replace Simon Cowell? Let’s hope Idol producers are already making phone calls to Harry Connick Jr., because if he’s as good a judge as a mentor, we believe Season 10 won’t be in such bad shape after all. [E! Online]
