While sporting dark feathers in his hair, Wango Tango performer Adam Lambert sat down with Entertainment Tonight during his “If I Had You” video shoot to give a behind the scenes look at the clip. “The theme of this video today is, quite basically, no matter how much money, success or material things you accrue in life, if you don’t have connection and love, it’s worthless,” Glambert said. He also gave some details on his upcoming Glam Nation tour. Watch after the jump.

The “If I Had You” video, which looks like one big, colorful romp in the woods, features appearances by several of Lambert’s personal friends. “I wanted to promote the idea that no matter what your sexuality was, what the color of your skin is, no matter what religion you are, no matter how old you are, we can all get together and find common love—and party in the woods,” he explained to ET.

And what a romp it is—check out that pelvic thrust action!

Adam also discussed his upcoming set of tour dates. “The tour is definitely going to bring a lot of my theatrical sensibilities to the table. I have dancers. I have amazing costumes, of course. Some visuals, beautiful lighting. It’s something that we’re just starting to work on now and we’re coming up with great ideas…”

Will you be going to check Adam out on his first trek across the States this summer?
