Eminem is currently in France for his European promo tour, and he’s spending his time abroad wisely: after posing with the Mona Lisa at the Louvre (how Diddy of him), he performed his single “Not Afraid” for the first time on French TV show Le Grand Journal. Take the jump to watch him perform the Recovery track live and find out the Detroit rapper’s thoughts on everything from Rihanna to the World Cup. (Guess which one he’s a bigger fan of.)

Eminem – “Not Afraid” (Live)

Em did an interview with SkyRock Radio while in Paris, discussing his Recovery collaborations and a few other notable subjects:

On “No Love” with Lil Wayne: “I’ve always respected what Wayne does, and Wayne, to me, is definitely one of the greatest in the game right now.”

On “Love The Way You Lie” with Rihanna: “I felt like only she could pull it off, only she could do it.”

On “Won’t Back Down” with Pink: “I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record and felt that she would smash this record.”

On his upcoming “Not Afraid” video: “There’s a lot of things in it that are metaphorically speaking. There are things that are symbolic in the video… The overall concept is basically being in a dark place and trying to get to the light.”

On the World Cup: “Is it politically incorrect if I said I didn’t like soccer? I’m not a big soccer fan.”

On 50 Cent’s Weight Loss: “That’s crazy.”

Okay, so not every subject inspired much discussion. Check out Em’s full-length interview with SkyRock here, here and here.
