Jordin Sparks Is Just An “Average Girl”

Jordin Sparks will soon be on Broadway, has racked up several Top 10 hits,  met the President and—oh, yeah—won American Idol. Still, she tries to maintain a bit of modesty on new Veronicas-esque track “Average Girl.” Decide if Jordin is as ordinary as she claims by listening below.

Also an about-face for the 20-year-old: almost-swearing. (“If I was a guy then I’d play football and I’d probably kick your—ask me anything you wanna know!”) Guess that doesn’t quite count, right?

There’s no word yet on whether “Average Girl” will make it onto Jordin’s upcoming third album. She is, however, currently underway with her Battlefield Tour, and she’s answering questions (via text) that readers submit to us.
