‘Glee’ Book Series Planned For Fans Who Want To Enjoy The Show Without Music

After taking over both TV and the charts, it was only a matter of time until Glee was appropriated for other arenas of entertainment—the Fox hit show will be getting its own original book series that will hit stores this August. The first novel in the series, Glee: The Beginning, will be a prequel to the show, and will follow the characters’ lives before they joined glee club. We’re somewhat skeptical about how much we can enjoy the plot of Glee without there being music and dancing involved, but at least in book form we won’t have to suffer through more Mr. Schuester rapping. That said, we’ll wait for the audio books. UPDATE: There’s even more Glee merch on its way. [EW]
