Kanye Performs With Jay-Z As Pink Falls From The Sky At The Isle Of Wight Fest

Eclectic acts from all across the globe trekked to the U.K. to participate in the Isle of Wight Festival—Blondie, Vampire Weekend, Florence and the Machine and The Strokes delivered impressive sets… but it was Pink bungee-jumping into the crowd and Kanye West slinking from out of the woodwork again to help Jay perform a Rihanna-less “Run This Town” that really made us wish we would have flew across the pond to check it out live. Watch Pink, Hova and ‘Ye rock the U.K. below.

During his 90-minute set, Jay—who jet-setted to Tennessee the very next day to headline Bonnaroo—gave shout-outs to Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Eazy E, Jimi Hendrix, President Obama, and even Florence and the Machine, who opened for the hip-hop master.

Sadly, there was no Beyonce cameo during “Young Forever” this time, as Mr Hudson was on hand to perform with Jay, although electro-pop outfit The Big Pink covered Bey’s “Sweet Dreams” in the Big Top tent.

How did Pink top her gravity-defying Grammy performance of “Glitter in the Air”? By literally falling from a Pink-in-the-Box hovering above the crowd to kick off her energetic 15-song set (which also included a cover of The Police’s “Roxanne”). She later crawled into an inflatable ball and rolled across the audience, Flaming Lips-style. Does anyone have more fun than Pink does during a show? We seriously doubt it.
