Maroon 5 has a new album coming out this September, Hands All Over, and their first single “Misery” has surfaced online. Never has a song with such a depressing title been so much fun to listen to! As the saying goes, if you’re going to write a song about being completely miserable, set it to the most delightful, happy-go-lucky music you can think of! Hear it below.

Either he’s really not that upset, or Levine hides his melancholy pretty well, because this funky dance-lite jam is like a bowl of inappropriately-named sunshine.

The band is hitting the road this summer—check out Maroon 5’s official site to catch ’em on their national tour.
