Single Cover Diva-Off Winner: Kelly Rowland
For the second time in a row, Kelly Rowland has beaten M.I.A. in our single cover art contest, despite the fact that her cover for “Rose Colored Glasses” has neither the color rose nor a pair of glasses. No matter—you guys really love your Kelly! Most of you seemed to agree with commenter Jesse that “Kelly is beautiful” and based your vote on those mertis alone. But commenter Lex brings up a good point to those of you who don’t seem to be into Maya’s sleeve: “I guess it has never strucked you guys that M.I.A.’s cover is intentionally made poor photoshop-ish?” Could be intentional, yes, but it doesn’t matter much if no one one is feeling your cover art either way.
