Brandon Flowers’ Solo Album To Drop This September

Summer may have just begun, but we’re already pining for Fall—Brandon Flowers’ solo album Flamingo will be released September 14 on Island Records. The album’s producers include Stuart Price (who produced The Killers’ Day & Age, along with several other albums this year), Daniel Lanois (U2) and Brendan O’Brien (Incubus), and Jenny Lewis will be featured on two tracks. From what we’ve heard so far, it appears that Flowers isn’t straying too far from The Killers’ majestic glam-rock sound, so the only new thing to get used to is the man’s mustache he’s reprising from his Sam’s Town days.
