USA Today posted a photo preview of movie musical Burlesque, Christina Aguilera’s film debut and Cher’s first time starring in a leading role in over a decade. In the film, Christina plays Ali, an Iowan girl who leaves her hometown in search of fame and fortune, and ends up waitressing in a burlesque club. Soon enough, she showcases her vocal chops and becomes the main star, turning the club into a success. Happy ending!
Okay, there’s probably a whole lot in the middle there we’re not including, but honestly, let’s just call this movie what it is: Moulin Rouge‘s sluttier cousin.
