Robyn’s ‘Body Talk Pt. 2’ Release Date Announced
So far dancing queen Robyn is following up on her announcement to release three albums in her Body Talk series. As the Swedish singer gets her U.S. tour underway to promote Pt. 1 this weekend, Pitchfork has announced that Body Talk Pt. 2 is due September 6 in the UK on Konichiwa/Island. (No word yet on a domestic release date.)
“Body Talk Pt. 1 is the first part of this album that will be released in three parts,” Robyn said here on Idolator in a special double interview with Kelis last month. “Both musically and lyrically it’s inspired by club music and culture. I’ve been on tour, spending a lot of time in clubs, performing, but also just being a visitor. I think it’s an important place for our generation, a place where people go to let off steam and experience something bigger than themselves.”
