In the music video for his second American hit “Dynamite,” Taio Cruz struts around a scrap yard while sexy, scantily-clad girls gyrate and weld metal. The UK singer-songwriter eventually convinces them to ditch their work and proceeds to turn the junk joint into a club. Kind of a step up from having Ke$ha slink around on a toilet, no? Watch below.

Earlier this year, Taio talked to Idolator about recording new songs for the U.S. release of his album Rokstarr. “I’ve been in the studio with Dr. Luke and Dallas Austin doing sessions,” he said. “So hopefully good stuff comes out of that.”

And so far, so good. “Dynamite,” which was co-written by Max Martin and co-produced by hitmaker Luke was one of the songs to come out of those sessions. Recently, the single cracked the Top 10 of Billboard Hot 100 (it’s currently #6), becoming Cruz’s second single to do so.
