Young Money pals Jay Sean and Nicki Minaj party across the globe in their video for “2012,” one of two singles Sean is releasing simultaneously ahead of his next album. “If you loved ‘Down’ and you loved ‘Do You Remember,’ you’re going to love the next song, which I think is going to be stuck in everybody’s head for the entire summer, and hopefully much longer,” the British singer promised to EW‘s Music Mix. Catch a sneak peek of the “2012” video below.

The other jam Jay plans to release next month alongside “2012” is “Break Your Back,” which he describes as a “club-banger.” Previously he spent a week atop the Billboard Hot 100 last fall with “Down,” and racked up a second Top 10 hit with “Do You Remember.”

And while his next album isn’t due out till November, Jay says he didn’t want to wait any longer to unleash his new music upon the masses. “I was already halfway through the album by the time ‘Do You Remember’ was hitting radio,” he told MTV. “We listened to it, and we were like, ‘You know what? I want to hit them with something fresh right now, not something that is off [this] album. Let’s go now, while we are ahead of the game, while we are ahead of the curve.’ ”

What do you think? Are you down, down, down with “2012”? Listen to the whole track here:
