Everything’s Just Wonderful For Mommy-To-Be Lily Allen
A couple of songwriting awards and a sweet new gig writing a Broadway musical isn’t the only good news Lily Allen has had this year. The 25-year old pop singer (who uploaded her happy announcement as a twitpic) is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper. (We’re assuming that may have been her reason for pulling out of Spain’s Bennicassim music festival last month, although her rep claims she’s still set to perform at The Big Chill in Herefordshire this weekend.) We hope for nothing but the best for Allen and her growing fam, even if this means her self-imposed hiatus will last longer than two years. [E! Online]
