Hear Katy Perry’s Bang-Up New Track “Firework”
As newly-bobbed pop babe Katy Perry continues to release a single a week on iTunes in the lead-up to new album Teenage Dream (this week it’s the spacey “E.T.”), a fresh song has surfaced in the form of sweeping jam “Firework.” Blow your fuse with Katy after the jump!

Speaking of which, Katy stretches her voice here to positive effect. (Though it will be interesting to see how she fares with this one in a live setting—her Teen Choice Awards performance was just so-so.)
Overall, we’d rate “Firework” with two firecrackers and a bottle rocket. Are we hearing her next Top 10 single?
