Cee-Lo Tells Us “F**k You” In New Music Video, Means It In The Nicest Way Possible

Cee-Lo Green, best known lately as one half of Gnarls Barkley (and now as a terrific partner for Fantasia), has just released a toe-tapping old school soul-filled track that is hands down the happiest “FU” we’ve ever heard. The “Fuck You” lyric video is meant to hold us over till Cee-Lo’s “big, big single” has a big, big video to match come October 4th. But this jam is so good—and there is something so perfect about the simplicity of the white text on a solid colored background—we think fans will have no problem being patient. Warning: This is one song you don’t want stuck in your head around the office. Click below to get the middle finger from Cee-Lo.

Cee-Lo Green — “Fuck You”

We have to agree with one YouTube commenter who exclaimed, “This song is a musical orgasm.”

And our favorite lyric is by far:

“Yeah I’m sorry, I can’t afford a Ferrari But that don’t mean I can’t get you there I guess he’s an XBOX and I’m more ATARI, But the way you play your game ain’t fair”

We can’t wait till those Kidz Bop kids gets their hands on this one. Perhaps they’ll change the chorus to “Thank you”? Or maybe they’ll just pick something else from Cee-Lo’s upcoming The Ladykiller LP. Yes, definitely “Georgia”.
