Kanye West Promises A New Song Every Week For Good Fridays

That “Power” remix Kanye West unleashed on Friday was no random release; the rapper now plans to unveil a song a week until Christmas according to a series of tweets he posted yesterday. And here you thought this fall was going to be just gray skies and dead leaves!

“I know yall need the music so I’m dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song it may be a new Jay song etc.,” West tweeted Sunday morning. “I’m calling it good Fridays. Yall know every Friday yall gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now.”

One collaboration that is sure to blow the minds of hip hop fans and tweens alike is the forthcoming pairing of Kanye and Justin Bieber. We’re expecting that to be one Good Friday that the Beliebers declare a national holiday and skip school for.

“It’s about the fans,” West continued on Twitter. “No more holding back. That’s why I dropped see me now… It wasn’t about me it was about the Summer the BBQs etc..”

Kanye’s fifth studio album Dark Twisted Fantasy is due out November 16. Here’s hoping ‘Ye keeps at least a few surprises from it under wraps until then.
