Kylie Minogue Performs “Get Outta My Way” In A Tiny Pub

Kylie Minogue has performed at some of the biggest venues in the world, and now she’s played some of the smallest. The pop queen performed a surprise five-song acoustic set for the employees of her record company, Parlophone, whom were celebrating at a local country pub in the small English town of Somerset. Check out the Aussie goddess’ acoustic version of “Get Outta My Way” in the Ring O’ Bells pub below.

Kylie also performed her Aphrodite track “All The Lovers”, as well as her 80s hits “I Should Be So Lucky” and “Locomotion.” And opening for Kylie was one of Idolator’s Popping Up artists, Eliza Doolittle.

The pub’s manager Lauren Goddard said that Kylie’s set was “quite surreal, to be honest. It’s not the sort of thing you expect to see in a quiet local pub like this. We were sworn to secrecy and didn’t even tell the staff until 30 minutes before the doors opened. Kylie was very friendly and down-to-earth. She didn’t make any demands and she was very polite.”

It’s not quite Jewel surprising dozens of strangers in a karaoke bar, but it’s still pretty great.

Kylie will be performing with Rufus Wainwright at the Watermill Center on August 28 for the Center’s 2010 Summer Concert Series. You can also check her out on America’s Got Talent tonight, singing “Get Outta My Way” on a slightly bigger stage than the one at the Ring O’ Bells pub.
