Cee Lo Green Gives An Uncensored “F**k You” To ‘Later… With Jools Holland’
Cee Lo Green was recently in the UK promoting his ode to the F-bomb “F**k You,” which, if midweek sales figures are any indicator, is set to become the new #1 single across the pond. The other night the Lady Killer crooner hit up Later… With Jools Holland, a magical world on the BBC where censors take a holiday. Head below to watch Cee Lo in his finest pink threads, belting out “F**k You” (minus the stars) and new track “Old Fashioned.” Even though “F**k You” is a diss toward the lady who gave him the brush off, Green chose to have an all-female backing band—and a color-coordinated one, no less—on Jools Holland.
“Old Fashioned” sounds just that. It’s a new track from Cee Lo’s upcoming album The Lady Killer, which is due out November 9.
Amazing, soulful performance. But let’s see Cee Lo try to get away with something like that on the Tonight Show.
