Apparently un-rattled by David Letterman’s “you smell like expensive wood” comments last night, Taylor Swift carried on with her Speak Now promo this morning by hitting up Live! With Regis And Kelly. The pop-country Glamour girl sat down for a short interview—where she told a story about stalking a 12-year-old fan in Nashville (uh, usually it’s the other way around, Tay)—and performed her single “Mine.” “I saw this girl walking down the road wearing my tour t-shirt, and I was like, that’s amazing! That’s so cool!” Taylor explained. “On a whim I just decided to make a U-turn in the middle of of a busy street.”

Swift eventually tracked the girl down to an arcade (yes, this story is getting creepy) where she found out the tween was in Nashville because she actually convinced her parents to take a road trip from Texas to visit the Blue Bird Cafe, which is where Taylor was discovered.

Taylor also performed her hit “Mine” on Regis And Kelly.

As noted earlier today, Speak Now is expected to crash into next week’s Billboard Top 200 on sales of 800,000 to 900,000 copies.
