Snoop Dogg Pops Open “New Year’s Eve”

Recent birthday boy Snoop Dogg has ample reason to celebrate — in addition to recording new tracks with young homies Far East Movement, earning unexpected props from Paul Simon and landing a gig as Internet sheriff(!?!?), he’s finally closing in on the release of Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary, the sequel to his legendary 1993 debut. It’s not due til next year, but why wait to start the party? Drink in “New Year’s Eve”, Snoop’s new single with singer Marty James, below:

Perhaps not Snoop’s strongest work, but the lightly swinging track just might sneak into a few playlists in late December.
