Ke$ha Returns Feeling “Sleazy”

Look, we’re as stunned as anyone else that Ke$ha’s “pride anthem” didn’t immediately result in the calling of a joint session of Congress to settle the ongoing debate over gay rights. Maybe her message of tolerance went over some people’s heads. But we think her newest Cannibal track conveys a simpler message: it’s called “Sleazy”. Listen to the classy gold-toothed hitmaker (and Halloween inspiration) tell a suitor how unimpressed she is by the trappings of wealth.

It’s an interesting departure from the dance-pop atmospherics that vaulted her to stardom. Now if only someone would wash out her mouth with soap. Yeesh.
