Nicole Scherzinger Is A Butt-Kicking Comic Book Diva In Her “Poison” Video

We admit that we were a bit unsure about Nicole Scherzinger’s new RedOne-produced single “Poison” when it first surfaced. But now that it’s been fitted with a somewhat stylish Joseph Kahn video, it’s all sort of starting to fall into place. Granted, the clip—which finds Nicole taking on the role of an undercover super vixen—is highly campy. But would we really want it any other way? Watch below. Now, Nicole may have poison on her mind, but our minds are a little boggled. The Dancing With The Stars champ seems to be playing both the villainess and the heroine in this vid.

Oh, but we get it—it’s all a big metaphor for what an intricate, complex woman the Pussycat Dolls diva really is. And any man that gets in this good/bad girl’s way is going to get thrashed with her golden lasso. Naughty!

She even has her dramatic Wonder Woman-esque twirl down pat (check it out at the 3:49 mark).

Look, let’s get down to brass tacks—the “Poison” video is super hot trash on a budget. (Well, okay—those cardboard sets probably cost at least seven bucks.)

But giving people with this much guilty pleasure in four minutes is just plain priceless.

Up, up and away!
