Did You Hear?

:: “I didn’t know that wasn’t on the table for discussion!” laughed Jay, responding to Hammer’s hurt feelings (and ridiculous video retort) when Jay rapped about Hammer’s money woes. “I didn’t know I was the first person to say that. Am I?” He adds that he wrote some great things about Hammer in his upcoming book, Decoded. Bygones, guys? [World Star Hip-Hop]

:: Rapper Gucci Mane was arrested for driving on the wrong side of the road, but that’s not all — he was also charged with “running a red light or stop sign, damage to government property, obstruction, no license, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges.” [MySpace Music]

:: Is Jay-Z considering running for President one day? If he does run and gets elected, he’ll have to make sure to day something disparaging about Kanye, since that seems to be the precedent. [Spinner]

:: New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys (now calling themselves NKOTBSB) are co-headlining a tour together, and the boy bands’ first stop will be performing at the American Music Awards together. This will either turn out to be incredible, or it will be the perfect opportunity for a bathroom break during the telecast. [MTV Buzzworthy]

:: Bret Michaels and Trish Cyrus say they have a “working relationship” and that’s all, so you can stop your rumor-mongering about an alleged affair right now. [E! Online]
