When Soulja Boy commented to XXL mag that he does not want to be “super-Lupe-Fiasco-lyrical and n****s don’t know what the f*** I’m talking about,” we knew there was a new rap beef brewing before our very eyes. Taking Soulja’s dis as a challenge, Lupe responded in the best way he knows how — recording a killer new track, “S.L.R. (Super Lupe Rap)”. Behold the latest rap superhero, Super Lyrical Lupe, below.

“In this world I’m so alone / In a category all my own,” boasts Lupe. Produced by Soundtrakk, this thumping, groovy track throws metaphors around like they’re high-fives: “Flow is so nuts the track is getting tea-bagged / Just wanna rap nice, that ain’t me.”

And as for Soulja insulting Lupe’s penchant for a cornocopia of words in his raps, he puts it succinctly: “Soulja call it Super Lupe Lyrical / You can’t understand me or mimic my miracles.”

Impressing us with the Modest Mouse-sampling “Show Must Go On“, Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Friday teammate is on a roll. Thankfully, his long delayed Lasers has landed a (hopefully) solid release date: March 8, 2011.

We officially like this rap beef more than MC Hammer vs. Jay-Z. Although in both cases, the feuds are extremely one-sided.
