With his fly shades, a gray suit and tie on and a blinged-out mic in his hand, Snoop Dogg tore up the Late Show With David Letterman stage last night with his cover of Brothers Johnson’s “Get The Funk Out Of My Face.” The track appears on the just-released Quincy Jones tribute album Q Soul Bossa Nostra, and the famed producer himself, who was a guest on the show, sat by for The Dogg Father’s performance. Get funky below.

Meanwhile, it was announced yesterday that Snoop’s 11th studio album Doggumentary Music will be released in March 2011.

“I want my fans to ride with me on this one and know that I am so focused on bringing good music to them,” the rapper says in a press release. “It’s called Doggumentary Music because this is my life and I want to share my music, and my process of making it, with the fans.”

Nice. Somebody give that Dogg a bone.
