It took eleven long days and some really fun-looking parties, but we finally have our hands on Lil Wayne’s first recording since leaving jail. (Honestly, we’re surprised it took that long.) Weezy drops a verse on Birdman’s “Fire Flames” remix, off the rapper’s upcoming LP Bigger Than Life, though he makes no mention of his rime at Rikers. Looks like he wants to put the last year behind him… or save it all for an impending release. (We’re betting on the latter.) Jump below to listen to Weezy’s first verse as a free man.

Though with all the music videos and and albums you’ve released the past year, we barely remembered you were gone. [Vulture]
