Bruno’s piano becomes a fairly large burden on the artist as he drags it all across town — and yes, he really is schlepping all 88 keys using only his own brute force. “The concept of the video is my struggle, to tell this girl I’d do anything for her,” Mars says in the behind-the-scenes clip. “So I’m going as far as dragging a piano to get to her just so I can sing my heart out.”
“I shoulda been dragging a harmonica across town,” Mars laughs.
The video for “Grenade” drops this Friday.
