Hurts Attend A Festive Funeral In “All I Want For Christmas Is New Year’s Day” Video
We have to admit, Manchester duo Hurts served up some of our favorite melancholy synth pop in 2010—from their breakout hit “Wonderful Life” to their dirge-y Kylie Minogue duet “Devotion.” And so it only seems fitting that the lads cap off the year with a holiday single. Of course, Hurts wouldn’t be Hurts if the video didn’t feature Theo and Adam solemnly walking in the snow to a funeral—albeit one where a lit-up Christmas tree springs out of a grave!
