OK Go Lead A GPS Parade Around Los Angeles

After goofing around with dogs and toast, OK Go is taking their unique music video-making imagination to the streets. The band invited fans, friends, and anybody nearby with an instrument and a couple hours to spare to join them during an 8.5 mile parade around Los Angeles. But they weren’t just wandering around willy nilly — the band and all their minion walked a route that spelled out “OK GO”. See it for yourself by watching the vid.

The band, whom scored the 7th most-watched video on YouTube in 2010 with their video of a Rube Goldberg-style machine in action, “This Too Shall Pass“, drew out their route by using a GPS system on the Range Rover’s Pulse of the City app. (It’s like drawing with an Etch-a-Sketch using streets on a map.)
