Mohombi And Nicole Scherzinger Bring Some Sunshine With “Coconut Tree”

Know what 24-year-old crooner Mohombi has been up to lately? You may have noticed him popping up here and there—on Far East Movement’s Free Wired track “She Owns The Night” or alongside T.I. and B.o.B on Quincy Jones’ “Sanford And Son”, off Q Soul Bossa Nostra. Recently a new RedOne-produced song from the Swedish-Congolese singer, called “Coconut Tree”, surfaced, and he gets a little backup on it from Fabulous fox Nicole Scherzinger. RedOne was also behind the board for Nicole’s UK hit “Poison.” And given that Mohombi is signed to the producer’s 2101 Records and Cherrytree (home of Far East Movement and frequent RedOne collaborator Lady Gaga), well, it’s just all one big happy family over there!

And speaking of happy, get a load of “Coconut Tree”:

At least “Coconut Tree” makes us feel like we’re there now. Is it wrong that we’ve had this jam on repeat for an hour now, and Mohombi and Nicole have us reaching for the rum and pineapple juice? Ah, screw it—it’s early January, and we’ll piña colada if we want to.
