Did You Hear?

:: American Idol‘s Alex Lambert admits via Twitter that he has been homeless since being tosses out of the now-defunk If I Can Dream house. (Guess he wasn’t able to keep that bright green Ford Fiesta?) Don’t feel too bad for him, though: “I have money! And soon I will have a place to stay! I just wanted to let yall know! I’m not some rich spoiled kid!” Noted. [Huffington Post]

:: Elton John and David Furnish show off the latest addition to their family, their son Zachary. Aww. [Just Jared]

:: Thanks to the success of her Golden Globe-winning song “You Haven’t Seen The Last Of Me”, Cher is the only artist to score a #1 single on a Billboard chart in each one of the last six decades. [Billboard]

:: Melissa Etheridge will be playing St. Jimmy in the American Idiot musical for a week this February. (That would be the role Billie Joe Armstrong is currently playing.) Strange stunt casting — but we kind of dig it. How about letting Adam Lambert get a shot at it? [Vulture]

:: Sorry Dr. Dre fans — no Detox on 4/20. Don’t worry, we’re sure you’ll still have a good time that day watching Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s High School. [MTV]
