Despite her songs of heartbreak and love lost, Adele has proven to be quite a jovial jokester in conversation. And lucky for her, it seems she’ll be laughing all the way to the bank now that her sophomore LP 21 has been released overseas. The album has reportedly sold over 100,000 copies in the UK since its release two days ago—more than the rest of this week’s Top 10 albums in Adele’s home country combined. (The final chart will be published this Sunday.) Here in the States, those good sports aiming to actually plunk down their cash for 21 will have to wait until it drops on February 22. [NME]
