Katy Perry-approved Welsh pop doll Marina And The Diamonds (aka Marina Diamandis) is preparing the follow up to her debut album Family Jewels, and the grandiose “Sex, Yeah!” – from the sessions of her sophomore LP – sounds not unlike Florence + The Machine on the mic of a song by Robyn (also on the girl-powered tour). To the point: we love it. And, despite its saucy title, it’s nothing that can be considered “slutwave”, which is more than we can say of most of the female pop acts of the ‘mo. Marina’s recently surfaced diamond awaits you after the jump.

Regardless, this synth-pop awesomeness has got us even more geared up for her next album, as well as her upcoming tour with the California Gurl and the Swedish pixie. What do you think of Marina’s latest? Sex, Yeah!… or Sex, Meh?
