Glee‘s Amber Riley, who plays the big-voiced, fabulous Mercedes, may often be overshadowed by her castmates on both the show and in racy magazine spreads, but she’s got the attention of Essence in their latest issue. The mag dolled Riley up like the Queen of Funk in order to kick off their Facebook campaign to get a Chaka Khan-themed episode. We doubt that will happen, but we appreciate the effort, especially if it allows Amber to let her star shine in some seriously stunning pics.
