Fantasia To Star In Feature Film Biopic As Gospel Legend
Grammy nominee Fantasia Barrino has been cast as American gospel singer and civil rights activist Mahalia Jackson in a feature film of the singer’s life. While this isn’t the first time Fantasia starred in a biopic, it’s the first time she’s playing someone other than herself. The film goes into production in April and will reportedly be out in December — just in time for Oscar season!
