‘Glee’ Gets Bieber Fever, Covers “Baby” And “Somebody To Love”

We know that your Monday is already knee-deep in Justin Bieber thanks to the premiere of his movie, the release of his Valentine’s Day remix album, and our Grammys coverage (as well as the revolt led by his fans upon poor Best New Artist winner Esperanza Spalding). But the flow of the river Bieb is still rambling along: in tomorrow’s episode, “Comeback”, the Glee cast performs two of the tweet-meister‘s singles, “Baby” and “Somebody To Love”, in standard Bieber regalia: bright-c0lored hoodies and hair swoops. Also, Rachel and Mercedes duet on a Rent number, and Puck’s new crush Lauren Zizes finally gets a chance to sing. Jump below to listen to tomorrow night’s tunes.

Lea and Amber show off their killer chops in “Take It Or Leave Me” from Rent, but it’s still up in the air whether Ashley Fink, who plays Lauren, can really sing, as The Waitresses’ “I Know What Boys Like” contains more obnoxious sing-talking than a Ke$ha song. We do find it a bit strange that My Chemical Romance, a band who has a song called “Vampire Money” about bands who sell out to be on the Twilight soundtracks, would then allow one of their songs to be on Glee. Guess they won’t be writing a song called “Show Choir Money” anytime soon.
