You’ve got to fight for your right to party, but there’s barely any battle at all if you want to cover a Beastie Boys song nowadays. Ke$ha is planning to add their 1987 party anthem to the set list of her Get $leazy tour, and East L.A. hip-pop outfit Far East Movement put their own spin on a Beastie Boys classic, “So What’cha Want”, while performing in glow-in-the-dark couture live at The Cherrytree House. And they basically turned the Boys’ rock-rap hit into every single Auto-Tuned club song currently on the radio. Still: pretty jumpin! Watch below.

Far East Movement recently got covered by Diddy-Dirty Money, who turned their “Like A G6” into a G7. Upgrade!

Here’s the original, in case you’re unfamiliar:

There will be even more Beastie tunes available for dance-club remakes on their forthcoming Spring release, Hot Sauce Committee Part 2. (Don’t even bother to ask what happened to Part 1.)
