Wyclef Jean Released From Hospital After Being Shot In Haiti
Wyclef Jean was shot in Port-au-Prince, Haiti late last night, but has already been released from the hospital. Reportedly armed gunmen attacked a vehicle containing the former Fugee (as well as Busta Rhymes) and shot him in the hand. While the “Pou Kepa” singer was disqualified from running for presidency in Haiti last fall, he has remained politically active in his native homeland, campaigning in support of candidate Michel Martellyh. Fortunately, the injury was not severe, Wyclef survived his second recent hospital stay, and, as fellow Fugee Pras tweeted earlier: “Everyone can relax Wyclef is fine… They can’t stop us not one bullet or a machine gun!!!!!!!”
