Jay Sean And Lil Wayne Take It To The Club In The “Hit The Lights” Video
The Billie Woodruff-directed video for Jay Sean’s current single “Hit The Lights,” the “2012” singer’s second release off upcoming album Freeze Time, has everything you’d expect: sexy babes, lots of dancing, an appearance from Sean’s Young Money boss Lil Wayne and, of course, plenty of lights. Watch below. As a song, “Hit The Lights” leans heavily on Auto Tune. Likewise, the video is full of CGI effects that, at times, look like they were cobbled together in five minutes on a cell phone. (Watch for that fire in the background!)
Still, the energetic video suitably fits the feel of the throwaway dance-pop jam, and at the very least, much like a piece of bubblegum, gives a few minutes of sugary pleasure.
