Is Ryan Seacrest Cheating On ‘American Idol’ With A New Music Show?
Making $12 million a year with American Idol apparently isn’t enough for Ryan Seacrest — the host is in early talks with NBC to develop a music-themed show. Referred to as “the Ryan Seacrest Productions project”, the show won’t be a standard competition show, nor would Seacrest necessarily host it. “It doesn’t make a lot of sense to host a show competing with Idol,” Ryan said back in March, though his contract with the Fox juggernaut bans him from appearing on any other broadcast network til 2012.
