JoJo Learns She’s “The Other Chick” In Her New Single
On the flipside of her club-ready collaboration with Clinton Sparks, it actually sucks to be JoJo in the locomotive-leaping songbird’s latest tune. “Thought that girl was a joke, but she’s laughing at me,” wails the Hollywood party girl before realizing she’s actually “The Other Chick” of the track’s title — and is “so effin’ yesterday.” This will be the lead single from JoJo’s forthcoming Jumping Trains LP, so head below to check it out!
Is it just us, or are we all getting a bit of a Robyn vibe from this tune in both JoJo’s emotive vocals and some of the lyrics? It’s an angsty song you can (almost) dance to, which reminds us a bit of some of the Swedish singer’s more downbeat songs (like the Rye Rye-reworked “Be Mine”).
Not that we’d ever complain about such a thing!
