What’s this? The Latin heartthrob who’s managed to get club-goers across the globe to shake their rumps over the years with dance-pop hits like “Bailamos,” “I Like It” and “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)” can’t actually dance? Enrique Iglesias hit up Lopez Tonight after performing his new single “Dirty Dancer” on American Idol last night, but admitted to host George Lopez that he’s got two left feet in real life. Watch below. “I’m not a dancer. I don’t even know why I wrote a song called ‘Dirty Dancer,'” Iglesias laughed. “If I was asked to be in Dancing With The Stars, I wouldn’t even make the tryout or whatever the hell they do.”

Damn. Way to ruin the fantasy, Enrique. The conversation then veered from dancing to American Idol to Enrique’s very first demo, which contained songs the singer wrote when he was a teenager.

“I borrowed $1,800 dollars from my nanny to do it in Miami,” Iglesias revealed. He later added, “She took care of me for the first 25 years of my life and now I take care of her.” Well, that’s sweet enough to almost make us overlook the dancing bit.
