Rihanna Gets Some Flack For Following Chris Brown On Twitter

After her 21st century-style catfight with Ciara, Rihanna is making waves in Twitter again. Yesterday some of RiRi’s most diehard fans were shocked to learn that the Maxim-certified hot chick was following ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on Twitter, just a few months after she lifted the restraining order against him (put in place after his widely-publicized attack on her). When several of the giant-bedded beauty’s followers created an uproar at the news, Rihanna snapped back with the sort of hasty tweet-comeback we’ve come to expect from her.

In response to a fan who tweeted: “I never thought you would go back to him! You better not, its your life but you do have ppl that look up to you. e.g young girls,” Rihanna fired off:

“its fuckin twitter, not the alter! calm down.”

This prompted an outcry from many of Rihanna’s followers that she was “rude,” “a bitch,” and so on.

Meanwhile, Breezy has (wisely) chosen to remain mum on the matter thus far.

Clearly, actually following your ex is not a good idea. But Twitter-following? The lines are hazy. Is this a sign of a future friendship between these former flames? Or does following someone on Twitter not have that much larger significance? Only time will tell.
