Florence + The Machine already showed off their Lungs in their smash debut LP. Now they’re getting all the way down to the bone in the new video for cover song “Not Fade Away,” off the tribute album Rave On Buddy Holly. The offbeat, occasionally creepy video features Flo & co. singing, partying, and wandering through a cemetery before the gang dresses up in their skeleton best (a look we’re not likely to see the Grammy performers sport on the cover of Nylon any time soon). Check it out below.

We’ve got no bone to pick with this oddball black-and-white video, which, with its Southern flair and macabre visuals, feels like it could be a substitute for the opening titles of True Blood. And we’re digging the cameo by “The Machine.”

“Not Fade Away” is the lead single from the Buddy Holly tribute album, which also features Cee-Lo Green, Kid Rock, and Fiona Apple, amongst others.
